About Me Often referred to as a "True Worshipper" JP is passionate about praise. He believes God has given him a gift and he wants to motivate others to worship. JP stands by the word of God in Psalm 34:1 that says “I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth”. In addition to the gift of song, God has blessed JP with the ability to play piano and write songs. JP recently recorded a remix on the new “Marvin Gaye’s Greatest Hits” album and has played and recorded for Ashford & Simpson. JP has also co-written and co-produced a song with Professor James Hall and Worship & Praise, recorded with MC Hammer, sang background vocals for Karen Clark Sheard, and shared the stage with Regina Bell and Bishop Hezekiah Walker and the Love Fellowship Crusade Choir. JP grew up in South Jamaica, Queens and from early on his love of music brought him into a circle of friendship with people like producer Dinky Bingham and singer Aaron Hall. JP’s eye opening first solo CD, “I Rock With One Name, Jesus,” is the realization of a long-time dream come true. It is a unique blend of “Urban Gospel” that is guaranteed to stir your soul. Check out JP’s website at to sample the album and see dates for his upcoming performances. JP is blessed to have some talented producers on this project; namely Dinky Bingham, Onree Gill and Marcus John. JP’s intention with this album is to reach those who don’t know Christ. His daily prayer is “Lord, send somebody my way I can tell about your goodness and your grace.” JP lives in New Jersey with his wife Paris and son John Ross. He can be heard weekly as a co-host on the Gospel Jazzations radio show at Fairleigh Dickinson University’s which streams live Wednesday mornings from 1:00 a.m. - 6 a.m.
