She is internationally certified in Music Education as well as a summa cum laude graduate and faculty member of the prestigious Berklee College of Music. Nichelle is a well-versed singer/songwriter, choral director, performer, and undeniable artist. She is an active member of the esteemed: Doobie Powell, Merge2One, and The Glory Gospel Singers. Nichelle served as "Guest Music Director" for the world renowned Stax Records Music Academy, has served as vocal music director for Tarrilyn Ramsey (winner of Diva's Live), and was featured on a short comedy tour with Cedric the Entertainer. She was a featured solo artist in the 10th Annual Chick Singer's Night, the 2014 Gospel Diva's Concert, and has released the single "Live and Learn" which is dedicated to those affected by cancer. Nichelle is also a featured solo artist on the 2014 UK Indie Soul United 2 project and can be heard singing background vocals on Harry Connick Jr's "Love Wins," a tribute to the Sandy Hook victims.
